flourishing destiniesIn this virtual workshop we will come together to discuss what it takes to sustain the positive energy, the great ideas, and collective efforts around positive change initaitives, and to also take them to the next level – that is, to flourish through effective and sustained implementation despite ambiguity, constraints, uncertainty that we face on a daily basis. At the core of it we will talk about what it really takes to create and sustain ongoing positive change - creating flourishing destinies. We will gain through this workshop Insights into how other individuals and organizations have been able to continue positive change initiatives and leave this workshop with concrete ideas and strategies on how to apply this to our work. Together we will create a dialogue within a community of people that have experienced and implemented continued positive change and who are seeking to learn more and support each other in our continuing work. • Goal 1 is to provide a virtual Appreciative Inquiry experience on the topic of Flourishing Destinies - sustaining organizational continuity for positive change. • Goal 2 is to collect and make available digitally the best stories about how organizations, communities or individuals’ change initiatives have been successfully designed and carried out. The implementation phase has been not only successful, but has truly exceeded expectations. The collective energy and innovative spirit of the original design/planning phase has been magnified in such a way that new magnitudes of achievement and flourishing destinies are being lived out. • Part 1 - Pre-conference - participants asynchronously share stories of a time when they were involved in creating an initiative in their workplace, at a conference or workshop and the energy and commitment post conference/event was not only sustained, but amplified; it delivered the magic and exceeded greatest expectations. We seek to discover the collective imaginings of how to recreate and sustain this power going forward. What makes the dream and design come to life and flourish? • Part 2 – at the Conference - participants synchronously and/or asynchronously will make meaning together, as they share and celebrate their successes, strengths and assets, all of which contribute to a deep understanding of their collective achievements, their ‘positive core”. Flowing from this generative and energizing process participants will design new prototypes to facilitate flourishing destinies. • Part 3 - Post-conference – participants asynchronously continue to contribute their stories and insights as a source of support and inspiration to grow and develop flourishing destinies globally.
